What do you Think about Love and Sex with Robots?

An internationally recognized expert on artificial intelligence, David Levy, claims that within five years they’ll be able to manufacture robots that we can have both an emotional and sexual relationship with. Do you think this cutting-edge research will change the course of our cultural history? The robots will be programmable to every type of sex available and the full range of emotions of our choice. Mr. Levy says it will cut down on abusive sexual human interaction because the robots can take the place of an unwilling partner. If these robots truly do become Best Buys specials and widely available, how do you think it will effect civilization if we don’t have to interact with each other to receive love and sex? Would you want a Mr.or Mrs. Stepford in your life? What if our robots have affairs with your best friend’s robot? Would you watch or get angry?

Mr. Levy says they will be available in five years but it will take until the middle of the century before they will be cheap enough to that everyone can own one.
