Question by Fur Wearer: What do you think about robot manufactures and their rental nonsense?
I recently purchased a robot that vaccums and one that mops the floor. To be honest with you for machines they clean the floors better than I ever will. Anyway I decided to see if i can purchase a humanoid robot. One that can interact with humans, connect to the internet, and do the same stuff the two robots I purchased can do. I was checking out Honda’s ASIMO and I must say that I am impressed. The two things that gets me angry is that one they are not available in the U.S. they are mainly available in the Japan. Second you can’t purchase one you can only rent it. What the hell if I want to dish out money on a robot I want it to keep not to rent. Do you think these companies should just cut the poop and just sell robots.
If you haven’t seen a ASIMO robot yet check the website out and see some of it’s features:

The technology is still not good enough for me to go out of my way and buy or rent one. Maybe in the next 20 years.
